The owners manual said to use Automatic Transmission fluid type AQ-ATF for both the transmission and power steering. I have not been able to locate this type of ATF. You can mix synthetic and mineral based fluids just fine,and still benefit,so some is better than none. But a good alternative may be the chrysler 7176 fluid,a little more than dex 3,a lot less than synthetic.
