WebCity Light apprenticeships are paid positions designed to help those interested in skilled trades get the experience they need for a career in the electrical utility industry. Apprentices receive hands-on, on-the-job training along with classroom-style learning. Apprenticeship programs are open to all candidates who meet our qualifications. WebThrough our hands-on training environment, students will be taught skills in four categories: climbing, power line construction, equipment operations, and academics. The Electrical Lineworker Program consists of 320 field training hours and 180 classroom hours, for a combined 500 hours of premier pre-apprentice training.
